I am listening

Over the past few weeks, as I’ve talked with residents across Alburtis, Macungie, Lower Macungie, Upper Macungie, Heidelberg, Lynn, Washington, and Weisenberg Townships, many of you have asked thoughtful questions about where I stand and what I will prioritize if elected. I want to share a fuller picture of my platform and the issues I hear about most often at doors, meetings, and community events.

First, protecting farmland and open space is one of my top priorities. Our agricultural land supports our local economy, preserves our environment, and maintains the character of our communities. Growth is important, but it must be planned responsibly. I support strengthening farmland preservation programs and ensuring development happens in appropriate areas, not on prime agricultural soil.

Second, I am committed to protecting access to health care. I have seen firsthand how difficult it can be for families to navigate Medicaid and other coverage systems. With potential federal cuts on the horizon, Pennsylvania must be prepared to protect patients, support hospitals and nursing homes, and maintain access to care for seniors, children, and working families.

Another question I’ve been asked frequently is about warehouses and rapid development in our region. Residents want balance. We need economic opportunity and jobs, but we also need traffic planning, infrastructure investment, environmental protections, and local input before large projects move forward. I support responsible zoning coordination and stronger community engagement in land-use decisions that affect quality of life.

Education and school safety remain central concerns for many families. As a parent, I understand how important it is to know our children are learning in safe, well-resourced classrooms. I support strong public schools, support for teachers, and practical investments that improve student outcomes while keeping communities informed and involved.

I also believe Harrisburg should work better for the people it serves. That means transparency in decision-making, responsiveness to constituents, and a focus on practical solutions rather than political noise. Our district deserves a representative who listens carefully and follows through.

This campaign is about protecting what makes our communities strong while planning responsibly for the future. I’m grateful for the conversations we’ve had so far, and I hope you’ll continue sharing your questions and priorities with me as we move forward together.
